Hey guys Rata class has been doing some writing about fidget spinners!
Some Writing!:

I think fidget spinners should not be at school because…

1. They are loud!
2. Also they get lost!
3. Some are the same colours and they get mixed up!
4. Also they get STOLEN!
5. PLEASE DON’T BRING FIDGET SPINNERS TO SCHOOL!!

Hey Guys Gilberthorpe school went to Timber Nook!
P.S Miss Morgan is leaving today!


On Thursday Gilberthorpe school went to Timbernook on a bus there were about 3 buses. The seniors and juniors got mixed up in the bus!  It took a long time to get everyone on the bus and got so excited I sat next to Emalea! We made huts and had fun then we had lunch. We played in the huts and we had war nearly everyone came to our little hut! I can't remember how much people were in our team it was about 12? IT WAS SO AWESOME!!
I played with clay and hoola hoops! After we went back to school we get to hangout!!

Hey Guys, Today I am going explain to you about my reading. I have been learning about in reading on how to juggle! Its really fun I can juggle with 2 balls but i'm learning to juggle with 3 balls. It’s pretty hard but it’s fun. It’s easy with 1 and 2    not 3 it’s because my hands are pretty small.  Because  I was born with it :D! But it feels different when I start typing or reading and writing like i'm day dreaming. I now love reading!!! I have never done juggling before so that's why I done juggling. Juggling is pretty easy but when you first start it's really hard but when you get the hang of it you get better and better! But I was sick for  the first couple days. Then I got the hang of it. Now I can juggle with 3 balls. Juggling is good for your hands and throwing in the air. I like juggling because it's easy when you start then it gets harder! But I only just started because I was sick. So now I catched up to my group. I was pretty scared because  

I only just started when I first did it with one ball it was super easy.

As one of the largest cities in New Zealand, you would expect there to be lots of interesting facts, figures, and trivia about Christchurch. We’ve found some of the most interesting statistics about Christchurch – keep these in mind as you explore the city.

• It is the largest city in the South Island, and the 3rd largest urban area in the country in terms of population.
• The population of Christchurch is around 350,000.
• The nickname of Christchurch is the “Garden City” owing to its large botanic gardens and central park.
• Archaeological evidence suggests that Christchurch was first settled by Maori in the 13th Century.
• Christchurch was the first place in New Zealand to officially become a city; this occurred on July 31, 1856.
• The 1974 Commonwealth Games were hosted in Christchurch. QEII Park (named after Queen Elizabeth II)
• A fire in the Ballantynes department store in 1947 remains the worst fire disaster in New Zealand history, with 41 fatalities.
• Christchurch was the location of one of the deadliest natural disasters in the country’s history – the February 2011 earthquake. 185 people were killed, many more injured, and huge swathes of the city were destroyed.
• As a result of the earthquake, almost 30 million tonnes of ice fell off the Tasman Glacier, resulting in effective tsunami conditions on the Tasman Lake.

The Papercut By Keisha!

First I was flicking through a book.

Then I just got a papercut.’’Oh no!’’

It hurt so much it felt like my hand fell off. Then I was screaming. Then I fainted for 1 hour. Then I woke up in the hospital.I was very scared. I was in my stationary room. It was a mess! I felt blood going down my hand. I was moving my finger . Then I said ‘’Oh’’! Then started all over again. After my dad took me back home.

Then I never had a papercut again!

I like going to the shop  with my brother and going to the mall for lunch with Latoiya. I don't like Moths, Bats and Wasps!! I want to be a Scientist when I am older because I want to find out what is inside of people.

Yestrday

So On Wednesday I got a purple pencil case from the warehouse and 4 new shirts for school. In the morning my brother looked after me, I did my checklist and we watched a movie then I went on the computer. I also got some new clothes and some things for ethan.
